Montevideo hotell - Leading Hotels of the World asub Montevideos, 1,2 km kaugusel Pocitose rannast. Kohapeal on välibassein, privaatne parkla, spordikeskus ja terrass. We are a family of four and stayed in two adjoining rooms for 5 nights. All of us absolutely loved the hotel, to be honest it is probably our favourite hotel ever! The location is great in a safe, trendy area, full of restaurants and close to the beach. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a jaw dropping lobby. It is convenient, not too big, with a very good restaurant on the ground floor and a tapas bar/bar on the rooftop, where there is also a very nice pool, overlooking the neighbourhood and sea. The gym is on the 1st floor, with the most beautiful wooden equipment I have ever seen. The parking is on level minus one and very handy. The rooms themselves are beautiful, with details like an ornate and quirky water jar, a small but well designed desk, a balcony, a coffee machine and a well equipped mini bar and a nice balcony. Oh, and the mattresses and linen were heavenly. On top of this super nice staff and you have a recipe for what certainly is one of the leading hotels of the world, for a song!

Especially the people who worked in the hotel. They all appeared to like their job, they were helpful and prompt in helping. Eventhough they spoke very little English, they made it up by being personable and always available. A special group of people. Thanks!

The Alma Hotel exceeded our expectations in all regards. The hotel, our room, the staff and location were all superlative. Hidalgo and Nelson booked us with good restaurants, were so helpful with travel plans, and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast of omelets, baked goods, fruit and coffee was generous and delicious. The Cuidad Vieja was a lovely place to stay, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and it was quiet and safe.

The room and the common spaces were all very clean and had an artistic touch. You do not get the feeling of staying in a hotel or an airbnb. The great hosts along with the property welcomes you in a relaxed atmosphere, which is ideal for families. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the swimming pool a lot. I definitely recommend this place.
